What is Really Important in Your Life?

There have been lots of things going on in my life recently that causes me to think about what is really important. Is it keeping a clean house just in case someone drops in? Or maybe getting that next new gadget will make one happy...

My Mom is 75 years old and is having a lot of health issues lately. All her life she has worked hard and made accomplishments few woman achieve. For the past few years, all she's wanted to do was settle in with her crafts, books and other things she was always too busy for in earlier years. So far, she still hasn't been able to do these things and now I'm wondering if her dream will ever come true. Should she have taken more time when she was younger to do some of the things she longed to do or would she have really been happy doing those things instead of the path she chose?

Looking back, the one thing I regret most is the time I wasted doing things that did not involve spending time with my children and grandchildren. My conclusion...When it all is said and done, the only important thing in ones life is the difference one makes in other people's lives...

Thoughts on Bible Prophesy and Current Issues

I know Christians have been expecting Christ to return since His ascension but Bible prophesies are all coming together like never before. I put this timer here as this day will be the start of a one world government...please research Copenhagen and what's about to happen there!

Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue

I have been diagnosed with these conditions for about 5 years now and just recently received my SSDI acceptance because of them plus other disabilities. My disease is fairly severe, requiring pain medication on a daily basis. The medication does not relieve the pain so much as to occasionally jolt my energy level to a point where I can do little required tasks during the day. Some days are better than others and I praise God when I'm able to wake up and get out of the bed in the morning without it bringing tears to my eyes. I never know from day to day how I'm going to feel when I wake up.

I have found that eating sweets aggravate my symptoms and so have tried really hard to cut back on foods with sugar. I also try to change positions many times a day and take a short walk every evening which seems to help sometimes.

Weather conditions affect my symptoms drastically and there's nothing I can do for that. I use Horse Liniment and hot showers to try and help during damp and cold weather. I've also found that drinking the new Elations (Glucosamine) has helped my joint pain some but just read this article and don't know whether I need to continue it or not...http://www.my3cents.com/showReview.cgi?id=41929

I have an appointment with my psychiatrist next week to talk to him about Adderall. I have been reading several articles where this drug is helping with the fatigue and brain fog that accompanies these diseases. I have tried Lyrica and every depression medication on the market but I am unable to tolerate the side effects of most medications so could not continue them.

I am wanting to try and keep a log of daily activities, diet and weather conditions to see if I can better determine what helps and what makes matters worse...so today is day one.

It is cloudy, humid and in the 50's today. It is 2:30pm and I've not been able to do anything productive yet. I've had a frozen pack of 2 sausage biscuits to eat. So much for an exciting life, lol!

When I walk into my storage building, I just shake my head and walk out most of the time. It is just so cram packed full, I don't know what to do or how to arrange it to be organized and it drives me crazy. I have an addiction to auctions and can not control my buying so I've had to make some decisions on how I was going to deal with that. I decided I would try selling at a local flea market. I've been there for 2 weeks but wouldn't you know...it's been super slow so far! I'm not giving up and will continue to try my luck at cleaning out and staying ahead of my buying by selling at the flea market and online. These pics are of my booth...plus my little helper for the day!

Hi! I've never ever had a blog before but have decided to give it a try, mainly to advertise my products for sale. I have an addiction to auctions and I can not for the life of me keep my hand down when I see a good deal. Lots of auction nights I drive home with a truck load of fabulous antiques and collectibles that ultimately end up stored in a 40' x 60' steel building I had erected to hold all my treasures. I sell on Ebay and have a booth on Bonanzle but I procrastinate badly when it's time to list items, so my inventory is small right now.

Maybe having the responsibility of a blog will help motivate me to start increasing my online inventory! My first project is to figure out how to link my store and auctions to my blog. Wish me luck!
